Story Sense is a class for the under 5s. These classes offer a unique, immersive, and fully interactive way of storytelling. Story Sense is not just about sitting still and listening to a story, it's about being fully immersed in the story and the new adventure. A typical story sense session is delivered in chunks. I tell part of a unique story that is backed up with music or songs and a sensory based activity. These activities include resources, such as, lights, musical instruments, puppets, and real-life objects, including pots and pans. Also to support the story, I use photographs of real-life objects to promote language development. Every session ends with bubbles, because who doesn't love bubbles, but more importantly, this offers a sense of predictability and consistency.
