I found JamDoughnut on Instagram from a budgeting lady and thought I would give this a try. Its an app where you can buy gift vouchers to spend in store at a discount.

I tried this out for our food shopping:

• Buy the gift card for your supermarket (for example £50)
• Add to your mobile wallet or open the app at the checkout and scan the gift card

Depending on the current discount percentage, you are paid back your discount onto the JamDoughnut app.

I have used the app 3 times up to now and I have approximately £5.52 back. Once you hit £10 you can withdraw the cashback.
